Nowadays interest to the practical use of accounting indexes in managing of economic processes has grown, especially in investing, crediting, maintenance, alienation, allocation and merger of property, determination of financial, tax relations and many other situations.

Financial reporting is the source of information, which is able to provide transparency, efficiency of mutual relations in the field of economy management. But indexes reflection should be reliable.

Confirmation of validity of these indexes belongs to jurisdiction of auditors. Thereafter a practice of verification of financial reporting indexes is actual.

Audit, conducted by certified auditor, is directed on the confirmation that the financial statement demands certain regulating requirements. Such confirmation after that is to be provided to investors, creditors, clients and other users of statement, in such way increasing the cost of business in their eyes. Reliability of represented financial information is the main factor for an access to the market of capitals.

In accordance with the current Ukrainian legislation audit of financial statement is obligatory only for joint-stock companies, companies-issuers of bonds and financial institutions (banks, investment funds, professional securities traders, private pension funds and insurance companies) and implemented by certified auditors of Ukraine.
